– Now is the time for all democratic forces to make the final push for media freedom in Zimbabwe, says Richard Chimbiri, journalist from Zimbabwe. A newly appointed media commission has announced that they will start to re-license newspapers that were closed by the former government and give license to new ones. But, of course, as with all things which involve Mugabe’s party, Zanu-PF, there's a risk that somebody will try and interfere with the commission's work.
