Belarusian website awarded

During the spring of 2009 sixteen Belarusian media-houses participated in a serial of Fojo-trainings to develop their websites. The training consisted of courses in web design, web reporting and web management. A competition among the participating websites was announced to see what website did most progress after taking part in the trainings. Swedish Fojo-trainers Jonas Söderström and Birgitta Wilén, and their Belarusian colleague, Anatolij Martinkevich, monitored the development of the websites.

The jury had several good candidates for a winner, but unanimously came to the decision that Rehianalnaya Hazieta was the winner: ”for a tremendous improvement over the year, resulting in a very attractive and well-balanced website with uncluttered layout, nice palette, good typography and easily scannable content.”
